FresherThanChris.com was invited to the Smirnoff sponsored Subsessions: A journey through hip hop.    The event was held at the NewYork Transit Museum in Brooklyn Heights.  It was hosted by Biz Markie, Jermaine Dupri and Peanut Butter Wolf.  As the drinks were poured and passed,  tastemakers and trendsetters were treated to the DJ stylings of Jermaine Dupri.  The event was a part of the SMIRNOFF THERE initiative.

Rihanna performed SO HARD during Carson Daly’s show.  Sure, there was no lacefront wig or girl dancers giving their all behind her, but the performance wasn’t so “hard ” to watch.  Well, check it out yourself.

Jennifer Lopez performed a medley of her hits and featured another performance of her “hit single”  LOUBOUTINS.   I have to say this performance was okay.  I mean, I think Jlo can dance her ass off, but this performane seemed a little Paula Abdul post American Idol.  Not sure how I feel about the outfit either, but Id rather see her camel toe than her heel n toe..

NOS Boutique had its grand opening last week.  The boutique is located in Dumbo area of Brooklyn and specializes in shoes for men and women, as well as a select amount of clothing for women.    The grand opening was ultra cool, as there was an open bar and passed food.      If you are looking for a new place to shop,  you should definitely add this place to your list.
