Hottie Leighton Meester from the hit show GOSSIP GIRL (if you dont watch it, your girl does, or she makes you watch it) is crossing over into the music world.   Her album is slated for 4th quarter release.  The single “Somebody to Love” was produced by Mike Caren and Oligee and written by Rico Love.   It features vocals by Robin Thicke.

We here are feeling it.  It has a summer feel and is reminscient of earlier work of Madonna or even Paula Abdul.  My only problem, is that I dont hear much of Leighton and cannot really critique her voice other breathy vocals and rap/sing vocals.
